Global travel growth, estimated future needs for road infrastructure and impacts on energy demands and carbon emissions: an analysis
This article presents an analysis of future scenarios in global traffic growth. Each scenario has different travel patterns and technology adoption rates and the authors explore the consequential need for road infrastructure and the impacts on energy demands and carbon emissions at the global level.
